Bill Clinton Denies Money Scandal, Then WikiLeaks Strikes

This weekend, Former president Bill Clinton took to Twitter in order to refute recent reports which claim that Clinton Foundation donations paid for Chelsea Clinton’s wedding:

“No Clinton Foundation funds—dedicated to Haiti or otherwise—were used to pay for Chelsea’s wedding. It’s not only untrue, it’s a personal insult to me, to Hillary, and to Chelsea and Marc,” he tweeted.

Linked to the tweet is a Washington Post ‘fact checker’ titled, “Did The Clinton Foundation Pay For Chelsea’s Wedding?”

However, not long afterwards, Wikileaks stepped in with a tweet of their own, reminding everyone of their email proof stating otherwise.

Linked to their tweet was a Wikileaks document released in November 2016 showing an e-mail exchange between Hillary Campaign Chairman John Podesta and Clinton official Doug Band. In the exchange, Band states that Chelsea did in fact use “resources” from the Clinton Foundation for her wedding.

The document was an email between Hillary Campaign Chairman John Podesta and Clinton official Doug Band.

In the email exchange Band mentions Chelsea taking from the Clinton Foundation to pay for her wedding.

And there you have it, folks.

Oh, Bill. Will you ever learn to tell the truth?
