By now, it’s certainly no secret that former President Barack Obama avidly argued against Executive Amnesty at least 22 times.
See for yourself:
Coincidentally, this also means that Obama, true to form, lied to Americans at least 22 times in doing so, as his actions prove he didn’t really believe any of the words he spewed from his mouth.
You see, not long after making those arguments, Obama actually introduced and pushed through his Executive Amnesty plan known as DACA, which grants work permits to illegal immigrants who arrived in this country illegally.
Effective immediately the Department of Homeland Security is taking steps to lift the shadow of deportation from these young people. Over the next few months, eligible people who do not present a risk to national security or public safety will be able to request temporary relief from deportation proceedings and apply for work authorizations. Now let’s be clear, this is not amnesty. This is not immunity. This is not a path to citizenship. This is not a permanent fix. This is a temporary stop-gap measure…”
And wasn’t that cute how he attempted to soften the hypocritical blow by claiming that the law would only be temporary?
Too bad we know better than than now, because when President Trump announced an end to the DACA program, Obama actually had the nerve to step in and play the all-too-often-used race card.
Lies, upon lies, upon lies.
